About Old Fashion Care
Old Fashion Care is a care coordination service. Regina vets, interviews, and personally selects certified self-employed care professionals — CNAs, PCAs, licensed cosmetologists, and certified pedicurists — and matches them to your family's needs. She manages the relationship and remains your point of contact throughout. OFC does not directly employ the caregivers it refers.
Yes. Old Fashion Care, LLC is licensed as a home care coordinator in the state of North Carolina in accordance with NC Division of Health Service Regulation requirements.
Regina is the founder and sole coordinator of Old Fashion Care. She holds a Bachelor's degree in long-term care, is a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Certified Medication Aid, a Certified Activity Coordinator, and served as a licensed facility administrator from 2016 to 2018. Every client relationship at OFC is managed personally by Regina.
Old Fashion Care serves Raleigh and the surrounding Wake County area. Call us to confirm availability in a specific neighborhood or ZIP code.
The Caregivers
Yes. Every professional referred through Old Fashion Care's network holds the appropriate certification for their service area — CNAs and PCAs for personal and home care, a licensed cosmetologist for hair services, and a certified traveling pedicurist for foot care. Regina verifies credentials before any referral is made.
The care professionals referred through OFC are certified, self-employed individuals — not OFC employees. OFC coordinates the match and manages the client relationship, but the professionals operate independently. Regina is happy to explain exactly how this works and what it means for your family during the consultation.
Matching is based on more than just credentials. Regina considers your loved one's personality, preferences, daily routines, and the specific services required — and she selects a professional she believes is a genuine fit for that person, not just available on the schedule.
Call Regina. If a match isn't working — for any reason — it changes. You are not locked in to a specific individual.
Cost and Commitment
Costs vary based on the type and frequency of services. Regina will provide a clear, honest cost breakdown during the free consultation — before any commitment is made. There are no hidden fees.
There are no long-term contracts. Care is arranged on a flexible basis, and services can be adjusted as your loved one's needs change.
Coverage depends on your specific plan and the type of care required. Some long-term care insurance policies cover in-home care coordination. Medicare and Medicaid eligibility for these services varies. Regina can point you in the right direction during the consultation, but recommends verifying coverage directly with your insurance provider.
Yes. The in-home consultation with Regina carries no charge and no obligation to proceed.
Getting Started
This is the most common situation families face. Your loved one's reluctance is worth taking seriously — it usually comes from a real place, whether that's pride, fear of losing independence, or concern about strangers in the home. The consultation gives your loved one the chance to meet Regina in person, ask questions, and decide whether they're comfortable proceeding. There's no pressure at any stage.
It depends on service type and professional availability. After the consultation, Regina gives families a realistic timeline. If the situation is urgent, please call directly at (919) 902-4150 rather than submitting the form.
Call Regina. The care plan can be adjusted — services added, reduced, or changed — as the situation evolves. Regina stays involved throughout the relationship precisely so these changes can happen without friction.
Call (919) 902-4150 or fill out the contact form. Regina will respond within one business day.
